SouthStar Capital Provides Invoice Factoring Facility to Medical Device Company
SouthStar Capital, a leading private direct lender, announced the closing of an invoice factoring facility for a medical device company specializing in implantable products used in spinal and trauma procedures.
Operating across the United States and international markets, the company owns valuable intellectual property for several medical implant products and works with an established network of independent sales representatives and overseas manufacturing partners. Its products are currently manufactured and packaged in Europe before being distributed to customers in Japan and the United States.
The company sought additional working capital to support its international receivables and growing order volume. SouthStar structured an invoice factoring facility around receivables from an established, publicly traded healthcare customer, providing more consistent access to liquidity as invoices are generated.
The facility will help the company manage production expenses, strengthen cash flow, pursue new purchase orders, and continue transitioning portions of its manufacturing operations to the United States.
SouthStar Capital provides customized working capital solutions, including accounts receivable financing, asset-based lending, purchase order financing, payroll funding, government contract financing, and debtor-in-possession financing.
