Mountain Ridge Capital Promotes Blake Brown to Managing Director, Underwriting

Mountain Ridge Capital ("MRC") (www.mountainridgecap.com), an asset-based commercial finance company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Blake Brown to Managing Director of Underwriting for both Mountain Ridge Capital and Alpine Ridge Funding.

Blake joined Mountain Ridge Capital as Vice President of Underwriting in 2025, after holding a senior underwriting role at MRC’s sister company, Alpine Ridge Funding.  He brings deep expertise in secured finance, with a focus on factoring and asset-based lending, developed across senior underwriting roles serving manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, and other industries.  His experience spans the full credit lifecycle on transactions ranging from growth and working capital facilities to turnarounds, refinancings, and acquisition financings.  Blake has a proven track record of getting complex middle-market transactions done—always with an eye toward helping clients meet their challenges and drive success.

As Managing Director of Underwriting, Blake will oversee the underwriting function across both Mountain Ridge Capital and Alpine Ridge Funding, with responsibility for credit quality, deal execution, and the continued development of the underwriting team.  He will partner closely with our clients and referral partners to deliver thoughtfully structured financing solutions.

About Mountain Ridge Capital

Mountain Ridge Capital provides highly customized asset-based revolvers and term loans to middle-market businesses and utilizes an industry agnostic approach to consider advancing against all types of collateral.  Mountain Ridge targets lending to privately-held, family-owned and private equity-backed businesses requiring liquidity to support business transitions, including turnarounds, restructuring, acquisitions and changes in ownership or control.  The Mountain Ridge platform was created in partnership with CCaventus Asset Management, LP (www.ccaventus.com) in response to the growing demand for non-bank debt financing, which can be secured without unnecessarily slow and cumbersome bank committees, extended due diligence cycles, or lengthy legal processes.  MRC offers borrowers quick turnaround times and has a team of experts that understand all types of collateral, not just traditional A/R and inventory, which results in higher advance rates and more overall liquidity as compared to many traditional bank products.  See www.mountainridgecap.com for more information.
