Utah Finalizes Registration Form for Utah Commercial Financing Registration and Disclosure Act

The Utah Department of Financial Institutions (Utah DFI) finalized the registration form for factors to use in order to comply with the registration requirements imposed by the Utah Commercial Financing Registration and Disclosure Act, which was enacted in March.

Factors will register in Utah utilizing the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).  The NMLS began accepting new applications for commercial financing registration on Sept. 1. The Utah DFI recommends registering before Nov. 1, as the NMLS system is utilized for renewals beginning Nov. 1 and this results in heavy usage.

More information on the registration requirements can be found here.
