IFA NEXGEN Releases New Fund Forward Episode and Appoints New NEXGEN Committee Co-Chair Paige Runyard
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, June 11, 2026 – The International Factoring Association (IFA) today announced that the IFA NEXGEN has released a new Fund Forward Podcast Episode. Podcast hosts Chad Eberly and Robert Center welcome Sam Elitzer (CEO of FactorGenie) and Wallace Vaughan (CEO of FactorCloud) to kick off the Tech Series with Chapter 1: Invoice Auditing. In this episode, they discuss the key elements of a factor's tech stack, and the essential tools emerging to help factors with things like invoice auditing. This series will cover all types of software solutions designed to help factors find efficiencies, manage risk, and promote good client and team experiences.
The Fund Forward podcast series is dedicated to the evolving world of factoring. Designed to cater to both newcomers and seasoned professionals in the factoring industry, the podcast is an engaging series for learning, sharing, and discovering the myriad opportunities within the dynamic field of invoice factoring.
Additionally, the IFA announced that Paige Runyard, Senior Credit & Portfolio Manager at First Business Specialty Finance, LLC, has been named as a NEXGEN Committee Co-Chair. Runyard joined First Business Bank in 2015 with over ten years of experience in consumer banking and business accounting. She began her career at First Business Bank in Asset-Based Lending and was promoted to Field Examiner Team Lead before accepting a position as Credit Officer within the Accounts Receivable Financing team. Since that time, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President – Senior Credit & Portfolio Manager, managing a staff of analysts monitoring First Business Bank’s factoring portfolio, overseeing debtor credit, and working directly with ledgered-line clients. In 2025, ABF Journal recognized Paige’s career accomplishments with a Trailblazer Award. Also, in 2026, Paige received the IFA’s Bert Goldberg Award as part of the founding IFA NEXGEN Committee members to acknowledge their outstanding achievements in the factoring industry.
Paige replaces Trishaala Ninan, Director of Marketing at REV Capital, in the IFA NEXGEN Co-Chair position. “We welcome Paige to her new role and look forward to her work to develop a pipeline of industry leaders,” said IFA Executive Director Tania Daniel. “We also would like to thank Trishaala for her years of service to the NEXGEN Committee. Her leadership and dedication have helped strengthen the committee’s impact and expand opportunities for young professionals across the factoring industry.”
