IFA Mourns Passing of Factoring Industry Pioneer Helma Mazon

Helma Mazon, a long-time veteran of the factoring industry and the founder of Irving, TX-based Mazon Associates, passed away on March 19 at the age of 77.

Mazon is survived by her husband, John Edward Mazon; her daughters, Lisa Hultz and Shelly Liegel; her son, Johnny Mazon; and her four grandchildren.

Mazon, who was a former board member of the Commercial Finance Association (now Secured Finance Network), launched Mazon Associates in 1976. The family-run business is now led by Hultz and Liegel.
