Flatbay Capital Announces Helena Hauk as New Central Texas Business Development Officer

February 24, 2025 - Flatbay Capital is proud to announce our newest team member Helena Hauk, Business Development Officer in Central, Texas! Helena has 17+ years of experience in direct SBA lending and economic and entrepreneurial development.

She will work closely with Scott Deal, the Central Texas Market President, to grow Flatbay’s influence by increasing brand visibility, developing professional relationships within the CRE landscape and assisting businesses in turnaround.

Helena’s career in the banking and finance industry took off in 2005 in Kyle, Texas where she served as Executive Director of the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce. From there she went on to work at institutions such as 5th Gear Consulting, Green Bank, Susser Bank, and Capital CDC where she learned the art of sales, operations, team management and business consulting.

With years of business management experience accumulated, she decided to open CREEKHAVEN INN & SPA in 2018.

She continues to stay active in her community and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved with the Hotel Advisory Occupancy Tax Committee and is a Board Member and Hill Country Region Representative for the Texas Bed & Breakfast Association.
