EQ Rebrands Business Payment Platform EQPay

EQ, an international technology-led services and payments specialist, renamed its business payment platform EQPay. Formerly known as EQGlobal, EQPay provides payment technology for a range of international payments solutions.

As part of EQ, EQPay offers payment services in more than 130 currencies. In 2019 alone, EQ processed £300 billion ($392.09 billion) of payments.

As EQ’s business payment platform, EQPay facilitates one-off, batch or mass business payments. EQPay allows customers to manage their foreign exchange and payments via a single online platform. It offers a range of payment methods with some new features to be launched in Q4/20.

“Despite the global uncertainty, EQPay has an exciting period ahead, with a new name and some great new client services with more to come later this year,” Mark Churley, managing director of EQPay, said. “Our new name reflects the evolving nature of our business and our customers’ needs, while staying true to our EQ heritage. Companies want quick, secure and reliable ways to pay their employees, partners and customers, and our new name, EQPay, demonstrates with clarity and confidence the benefit we bring to customers. Payments are in our DNA.”
