Cohn & Dussi Hires Abraham as CFO/COO, Delaney as Counsel and Wilbraham as an Associate
Cohn & Dussi, a law firm with its principal office in Boston, hired Vaughn Abraham as its CFO and COO. The firm also hired William J. Delaney as counsel and Sara Wilbraham as an associate.
Vaughn has more than 30 years of financial, legal, technology and operations experience and will oversee all financial aspects of Cohn & Dussi. Prior to joining the firm, he held positions at Schwartz Hannum, Harvard University, Goodwin Procter and Raytheon Company.
Delaney is a commercial attorney specializing in insolvency law in Rhode Island and several other New England states. Delaney served as a member of the Chapter 7 Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island in the mid-1990s and has acted as a receiver and special master in Rhode Island Superior Court proceedings for more than 28 years. He has had a role as an attorney in many commercial law/insolvency cases in Rhode Island over the past 34 years.
Delaney is a past president of the Rhode Island Bar Association and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is admitted to practice in seven states and practices in the areas of commercial, bankruptcy and insolvency law. He was a recipient of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico and Continuing Service awards.
Wilbraham will focus on creditors’ rights and commercial litigation, with a concentration in equipment leasing and finance. Prior to joining Cohn & Dussi, Wilbraham practiced civil litigation. Wilbraham is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, with pending admissions in Rhode Island and in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts.
