CapitalNow Cannabis Becomes Full Member of the IFA

CapitalNow Cannabis became the first cannabis working capital company to be granted membership in the International Factoring Association.

Joshua Reynolds of Capital Now Cannabis will participate in the panel “Factoring Cannabis Deals” at the annual IFA Conference, which will be held May 11-15 in Phoenix. Gerry Wawzonek, CAEF, of Capital Now; Robert Betteridge of Burnet, Duckworth and Palmer; and Steve Kurtz of Levinson Arshonsky & Kurtz will round out the panel. Tina Capobianco, CAEF, of JD Factors will moderate the panel.

“We were not the first to think of a factoring service for cannabis, but we are the first exclusive cannabis factoring company in Canada with a dedicated purchasing fund and the first to be recognized by the IFA,” Joshua Reynolds, president of CapitalNow Cannabis, said.

“In an unregulated financial space, it is important to set yourself apart and join others who want to elevate the profession. We hope that our acceptance into the IFA shows how highly we value operating under a code of ethics that is strictly enforced by all of its members,” Natalie Wawzonek, COO of CapitalNow Cannabis, said.

CapitalNow Cannabis provides supply chain financing programs to Canadian cannabis companies.
