2020 IFA Factoring Conference COVID-19 Update

In regards to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the IFA has been closely monitoring the announcements and recommendations from the CDC in regards to meetings of this size and nature. As of today, there are no specific announcements regarding conferences such as The Factoring Conference, and all events associated with the conference are still on schedule.

The IFA has been working closely with the Omni to implement new procedures for the hotel and conference. Some of these are:

1) The IFA has purchased multiple hand sanitizer stations which will be placed in front of all meeting rooms and throughout the meeting area.

2) The IFA will be distributing personal hand sanitizers to all attendees.

3) The Omni will be increasing their scheduled cleaning to include hourly cleaning in all public restrooms, elevators, escalators and meeting room door handles.

4) The Omni has purchased additional hand sanitizer stations to be placed around the meeting areas.

5) All Guest rooms will receive a more throughout cleaning and disinfection, including TV remotes, lamp switches, coffee machines, etc.

6) If a Guest reports that they are sick, that room will be taken out of service to receive a deep clean & disinfection process.

7) The IFA will be implementing a no-handshake rule during the conference.

The IFA will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed as to any changes in circumstances. Currently, registration is running about 10% above all previous years and we are planning for an excellent event.

The IFA Annual Conference is set to begin April 22nd in Nashville, TN.
